Haiti Arise Benefit Concert
Saturday, March 1st at 7pm, at the 7th Street Theater, there is a benefit concert for Haiti Arise. They are having some artists from around this area play a few songs each. My sister Melina and my dad will be playing a couple with their jazz band. It is going to be really neat and it is for a great cause. Please come and enjoy some great music and fellowship. You can purchase tickets at the door or you can buy them in advance at some local shops. So tell everyone you know and I will see you at the concert!

Who is Haiti Arise?

Haiti Arise is a group started by Marc and Lisa Honorat. He is Haitian and she is from the US.They live in Haiti to help the people in Haiti and have started schools to help teach the Haitian people skills like: building,gardening,using computers,reading and writing and they have a really neat Bible school. The Haitian people are in desperate need of these skills and their economy is going down hill fast. So in efforts to help, encourage and teach them about God they are raising money to build some more buildings to teach in and places for people tp live. They are hoping to build an orphanage too. They have millions of orphans that are in need of a loving home and family. It is a really neat cause and has sent several groups down to help build and teach. My uncle Devin and aunt Jane just got back a couple weeks ago from there. They taught and helped out where ever was needed and saw how desolet Haiti is. He is going to have a slide show of pictures there tonight to show and he will also be available to talk to and learn more about Haiti Arise. I hope to get to go there someday on a mission trip, My sister, Melina, went a couple years ago and said it was life changing, and that's what I have heard from others who have gone. Very Cool! So tell everyone you know about Haiti Arise!

That is funny, I wrote that a while ago but it didn't post until now. Sorry.
I was actually gone all that day at a wedding. (one of the most boring I have ever been to)
too bad... but I don't know that I have ever been to a boring wedding a tend to like them a lot. ")

Same here but this one was boring! I played basket ball with my cousin in my suit. I like wedding to but this one was so informal.
Any way I was sorry to miss out.
